Today, 2nd November is Purple Tuesday, an event that seeks to improve the experience of Disabled customers, #PurpleTuesday is about creating a step change improvement in the awareness of the value and needs of Disabled customers. It is about making the customer experience accessible.

We are delighted to let you know that our in person Cuppa & Chat and Chronic Pain Support Group will return from September. Our weekly Seated Yoga and Stroll & Roll walking groups continue.
July 2021
Plans are well underway for our second family fun community fundraising event, Chineham & Sherfield Park Scarecrow Trail. This year we have invited fellow not for profits to have a stall at the event and there will be lots of entertainment for the children.

BDDF's first fully virtual Disability Awareness Day was held in March, and was a huge success. Thank you to the not-for-profit charities, groups, volunteers & members who offered content that contributed to 8 hours of live streamed footage, all of which may be viewed here.

It is an exciting month at BDDF as we have our first ever virtual (online) Disability Awareness Day on Friday 26th March! Spring is in the air & we have lots of activities & events to get involved in!

We are keen to understand the impact of the recent lock-down imposed due to Covid-19 on the disabled people in Basingstoke. We have created a survey, it has 10 questions and should only take around 5 minutes to complete.
