The Band of His Majesty's Royal Marines (non-BDDF event)
Basingstoke Deane Rotary is proud to once again host the Band of His Majesty's Royal Marines, the Corps of Drums, and special guests, The Chelsea Pensioners.
Every performance is magical, nostalgic, and highlights the wonderfully talented musicians and artists in this military band. With a wide variety of music from the film scores, to swing, comedic songs, to classical pieces, and good old-fashioned tunes everyone will know!
Enjoy all the toe-tapping, flag waving, sing-along opportunities, such as Land of Hope and Glory.
All proceeds go to charity and will include The Royal Marines Charity and The Royal Hospital Chelsea.

Fancy learning a new skill FOR FREE? Come along to our camera club and join our relaxed group of photography fans. All abilities welcome! June session will involve travel to Alresford by minibus/taxi (provided free of charge) to take some wonderful photos of the Watercress Line stations and engines! BDDF @ Basingstoke Festival of Transport
Returning this May to War Memorial Park is Basingstoke Festival of Transport, a great day out for the whole family whether you are a keen motor buff or just looking for an enjoyable Sunday. You’ll find a huge range of vehicles on static display, including classic and vintage cars, lorries, buses, fire engines and military trucks, aswell as fun activities like facepainting. BDDF will be located in the area set aside for community groups.
